Beyond Beauty is a boutique salon that features the Yume Head Spa Treatment. The head spa is the most luxurious treatment your mind, body and soul will experience. It will leave your scalp and hair feeling amazing.
When I think about beauty, yes it's a great haircut, or a color that frames the face just right, or that style that makes you feel your best. However, in my 34 years as a stylist, I have realized it's so much more than that. So, in 2007, with great intention and purpose, I set out to create a space that was built on the foundation for great hair, but was rooted in compassion, kindness and love. A space where everyone feels welcome and where true beauty is a connection that goes Beyond Beauty.
All services (except formal upstyles) will include a consultation, a Yume spa* shampoo experience and a blow dry style.

My goal in bringing this service to the salon was to not only use my 34 plus years in the industry as a licensed cosmetologist, but to also train under the best in the profession. It was extremely important to me, as this has been a dream of mine years in the making; to ensure that I provide an amazing experience to all. Will the Head Spa treatment affect my color or keratin treatment?
The products are professional and safe to use on any salon hair service that has been done. So yes, color and keratin are safe. I do recommend waiting a week after a salon visit to get your head spa treatment.
Will I leave with wet hair?
No, you are receiving a professional service. I believe that it is essential for the guests to see and feel the condition of the hair and scalp after a treatment. I don’t want you to have to wait to see the beautiful results of the service, so I will hand dry your hair. If you would like a full blowout and style, please add that service to your appointment
Can all hair types receive a treatment?
Yes, as a licensed cosmetologist, I have worked with all textures and types of hair. However, guests with extensions, braids, or hair pieces are not suitable candidates as this treatment is a scalp treatment with massage.
What should I wear?
You will be offered a robe to change into along with a pair of socks, but please come in whatever you feel comfortable in. I would suggest leaving jewelry at home.
